Our Business Level 3 second-year students celebrated success today in a moving event with speeches and an awards ceremony. The students crossed the stage and received well-earned recognition from their teachers, friends, families, and peers. iQQTV is incredibly grateful to Mindful Education, who sponsored the awards ceremony and presented one of the awards.
Mindful Education’s Head of Partner Marketing, Rehanna Khan, and their Employer Engagement Manager, Sukirat Bhogal, presented the Award for Best Academic Achievement 2024, which went to four students – Leah Ayres, Lakhwinder Kaur, Amandeep Dhuper, and Tiana Mia Arthemidor.
Lakhwinder and Leah are going to study law at City, University of London, and Kingston University respectively. Lakhwinder already works as a legal assistant in a solicitor’s office and finds time to teach Punjabi at her local Gurdwara. Lakhwinder says that one of the aspects she enjoyed most about her business course was teamwork. When Leah finishes her degree, she plans to practise as either a criminal or human rights lawyer.
Now that he’s graduated, Amandeep is pursuing a degree apprenticeship and has an interview lined-up as a business analyst. Tiana is still choosing between degrees in either Theatre Studies or Marketing at the University of West London or Queen Mary University of London. Tiana said: “I want to go to a university where everyone is smarter than me so I can learn as much as possible – it’s more about the challenge for me.”
Rehanna Khan also kindly made a thoughtful speech congratulating the students on their success and wishing them well going forward. Rehanna said: “Success is never an accident. Success is always the result of high intention, hard work, sincere effort, and the absolute unwavering self-belief that you can do it. I hope you realise, each and every one of you – you can do it!”
Salem Bekele, Head of Curriculum for iQQTV’s Business and Accounting courses, said: “iQQTV is very grateful to Mindful Education for their generous support today, as well as their encouragement for and engagement with our students. We look forward to strengthening our partnership with them for the future.”
