Other Ways to Pay

For many of our courses, excluding English as a Foreign Language, there may be alternative methods to pay your course fees, such as paying in instalments and student loans.

Fee Instalments

If your course fees exceed £500 and your course runs for 10 weeks or more, you can pay for your fees in 3 instalments (excluding English as a Foreign Language). Only fees for tuition can be paid in instalments. Other course-related fees must be paid in full at the time of enrolment. These include, but are not limited to, examination fees & material fees. A £20 administration fee is payable for all instalment plans.

Typical instalment plan:

  • The first instalment, paid when you enrol
    • 50% of the total + £20 administration fee
  • The second instalment, paid at the end of Nov/March (depending on when your course started)
    • 25% of the total
  • The third instalment, paid at the end of February/May (depending on when your course started)
    • 25% of the total

Exact dates of payment will be confirmed when you enrol.

Important: Non-Payment of Fees
Continued attendance on a course is dependent upon payment of fees. If payment is not made or acceptable payment terms cannot be agreed upon, you may be denied access to the college, suspended or withdrawn from your course. iQQTV reserves the right to refer unpaid fees to a solicitor or debt collection agency for recovery.

Advanced Learner Loan

If you’re aged 19 or over and you’re required to pay for a Level 3 (or above) course, you can apply for an Advanced Learner Loan to help with the costs. Loan eligibility does not depend on your income and there are no credit checks. However, nationality and residency conditions apply.

The loan covers your course fees and is paid directly to the college.

If you take out an Advanced Learner Loan to fund an Access to HE Diploma, you’ll be eligible to have the balance of your Advanced Learner Loan written off if you go on to complete a Higher Education qualification at university or college. However, if you don’t complete either course, you won’t be eligible to have the balance written off and will need to repay your loan in full.

We will provide you with a ‘Learning and Funding Information’ letter, which allows you to apply for the loan.

For more information, and to apply, please visit the government’s page.
